These controls live in the header any time you're viewing a song:

• Key — the dropdown transposes the whole song to a new key on the fly. The ♯/♭ button next to it switches between sharp and flat spelling (e.g. C♯ vs D♭) for whichever key you land on.
• Auto-scroll — the ▶ button starts and stops the page scrolling on its own, hands-free, so you don't have to touch the screen while playing. The − / + buttons and the speed dropdown between them slow it down or speed it up. ⤒ jumps straight back to the top of the song.
• Font size — A− and A+ shrink or grow the chords and lyrics, handy for a phone versus a tablet on a music stand.
• Day / Night — the 🌙 icon in the top-right switches between a light and a dark color theme. This is remembered per device, so each musician can pick what's easiest on their own eyes.

The yellow Home icon next to "OneChords by CVC Main" appears on every screen except the library itself — song view, setlists, users, your account, wherever you are — and always takes you straight back to the full song list.

While inside a song, the ← arrow on the left of the header does the same thing (or, if you opened the song from a setlist, it takes you back to that setlist instead). The search box at the top of the library filters by title, artist, or tags as you type.

Open the song, then tap Edit (only visible when you're logged in). That opens the same editor used for new songs, already filled in with the current details.

Inside the editor, the chips above the text box (Verse, Chorus, Bridge, etc.) insert a section label like [Verse 1] at your cursor — tap "+" among the chips to add a custom section name of your own if you need one that isn't listed. Chords go on their own line directly above the lyric line they belong to, lined up over the syllable they're played on — that spacing is what makes them line up correctly for everyone reading the song. When you're done, tap Save. Delete (only shown when editing an existing song) permanently removes it from the library, so use it carefully.

From the library, tap + New Song. The same editor from the previous section opens, empty.

Required: just the Title and some content in the chords/lyrics box — the song won't save without those two.

Optional, but worth filling in when you have them:

• Artist and Key — shown under the title everywhere the song is listed, and Key sets what the transpose dropdown starts on.
• Tempo and Time Signature — reference info for the band, not shown to the congregation.
• Tags — free-text, useful for grouping songs (e.g. "fast, praise" or "communion") and searchable from the library.
• YouTube Link — paste any YouTube URL for the song and a red Watch button appears on that song's page, playing the video right there without leaving the app.
• Notes — anything you want the team to see but that isn't part of the lyrics themselves.

If you have several songs to add at once, admins can use Bulk Import Songs from the account menu instead of adding them one at a time — see the example format on that screen.

1. Go to Setlists and tap + New Setlist.
2. Give it a title (e.g. "Sunday Service") and, optionally, a service date, then save.
3. On the setlist's page, add songs from the library one by one — you can transpose each song's key specifically for that setlist without changing its key everywhere else in the library.
4. Reorder or remove songs as needed, then tap ▶ Play Setlist to step through them in order during the service, with Previous/Next buttons in the header.

As the leader: open the song you want to lead from and tap Start Live. That mints a short share code and shows it in a banner at the top of the screen — read or send that code to your team. While a session is running, that same button turns into End Session; tap it again whenever you want to stop broadcasting. You can browse to a different song while live and the whole team follows along automatically — no need to end and restart.

As a follower: tap Join Live in the header, type in the code exactly as shared, and your screen will mirror the leader's song, key, and scroll position in real time.

Only one live session should be started at a time from a given device — if you accidentally tap Start Live again while already live, the button is now the End Session control, so it correctly ends the session instead of starting a second one.

The faint OneChords logo that sits behind the chords on every song page isn't something you can swap from inside the app — there's no upload button for it. It lives as an image file on the server, so updating it means sending the new artwork over so it can be resized and reinstalled correctly (it needs to be prepared at several different sizes — the watermark itself, the browser tab icon, the header icon, and the home-screen app icon all come from the same source image).

Whenever you're ready for a new look, just share the new logo image and it'll be regenerated into every size the app uses and sent back to you to upload, the same way the current one was set up.

Editor — can add, edit, and delete songs; create and run setlists; and start or join live sessions. Cannot manage other users or use Bulk Import.

Admin — everything an Editor can do, plus Manage Users and Bulk Import Songs, both found in the account menu (top-right, tap your name).

Adding someone: as an admin, go to Manage Users, fill in a username, display name, and password (8+ characters minimum) for them, choose their role, and tap + Add User. Share their username and password with them directly and securely — not over a public channel.

Managing an existing user on that same screen:

• Change their role any time using the dropdown next to their name.
• The ⏻ icon deactivates their account (they can no longer log in, but their history and songs stay intact) — tap the ↺ icon that replaces it to reactivate them later. There's deliberately no way to permanently delete an account from here.
• The 🔑 icon lets you set a new password for them, if they've forgotten theirs.

You can't change your own role or deactivate your own account from this screen, as a safeguard against accidentally locking yourself out.
